// hello, world Sebastjan Cizel Director, AI Codec Team at InterDigital

I’m an ML Engineer and co-lead of the AI codec team at InterDigital. I have a deep interest in the 'plumbing' of machine learning—specifically performance optimization, compilation, and the challenges of getting models running efficiently hardware. Before moving into engineering, I earned my DPhil in Mathematics at Oxford, studying the geometry behind string theory.

Background in mathematics (DPhil, Oxford) where I explored the intersection of geometry and string theory.
